Eng. Amos J. Mwansumbule is the Founder and CEO and Managing Director of SECOL and possesses technical and management expertise in the Oil & Gas, Shipping, Energy Regulation, HSE and General Management & Administration. He has more than 25 years of experience having worked in both private and public sectors. He worked in various cross- functional positions (including senior) with multinational leading oil companies; Royal Dutch Shell and Caltex/Chevron for a total of 12 years as well as worked for 3.5 years with Energy and Water Utilities Regulatory Authority (EWURA) as Head of Commercial responsible for all petroleum products importation, pricing, stocks management and distribution.

He also worked for 4.5 years with a leading Container Shipping Company “Maersk Line” and is currently the Executive Director of Tanzania LPG Association, an institution for companies involved in Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) importation and marketing in Tanzania. In 2020, Eng. Amos trained more than 1,500 LPG Dealers in 23 Tanzania Mainland regions on LPG product knowledge, Regulatory framework, and Safety Management. He is also an author of technical, Management and Workplace Process Safety Books.
